2D 3D Designer Engineer

Your Tasks:

• Create and develop 2D and 3D CAD models of components, assemblies, and full systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and optimized for production
• Conduct simulations and analysis to evaluate the performance and reliability of designs
• Optimize designs for manufacturing processes, ensuring ease of production and assembly.
• Support prototype testing and provide design adjustments based on real-world results
• Maintain and update design documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all design work

Your Profile:

• Proven experience in 2D/3D CAD design, preferably in the automotive, aerospace, or similar industries
• Strong proficiency in CAD software such as, Siemens NX , SolidWorks , CATIA , AutoCAD , or similar.
• Oversee the storage and release of CAD data using OEM tools (Siemens NX and Teamcenter).
• Ensure supplier compliance with quality and design standards, addressing non-conformities as required.
• Understanding of engineering principles such as material selection, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of simulation tools and experience performing basic structural, thermal, or motion analysis.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in technical and design reviews, providing detailed reporting on progress and deliverables.
• Manage lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
• Fluency in both German and English is required.
