2D & 3D Interior Design Intern

We are looking for a creative and motivated 2D & 3D Interior Design Intern to join our Interior Design team.

The intern will work closely with Interior Designers, 2D Designers, 3D Visualisers, and Project Managers and gain practical experience in creating interior layouts, working drawings, 3D models, renders, and design presentations.

This is an excellent opportunity for students or fresh graduates who want to build practical experience in residential interiors and modular interior design.

Key Responsibilities2D Design & Drafting

• Assist in preparing 2D floor plans and furniture layouts.
• Assist in creating wall elevations and sections.
• Prepare basic working and execution drawings under senior designers.
• Add dimensions, annotations, and design details accurately.
• Make revisions based on designer and client feedback.
• Assist in preparing electrical and false ceiling layouts.

3D Design & Visualisation

• Assist in creating 3D interior models.
• Develop basic 3D views for kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms, wardrobes, and other spaces.
• Apply materials, textures, colours, furniture, and lighting.
• Assist in preparing realistic renders and presentation views.
• Support the team in creating walkthroughs and animations.

Interior Design Support

• Assist senior designers in developing design concepts.
• Research materials, colours, furniture, lighting, and décor.
• Prepare mood boards and material boards.
• Assist with client presentation materials.
• Understand client requirements and help convert concepts into visual designs.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with Interior Designers and 3D Visualisers.
• Assist Project Managers with design-related requirements.
• Understand site measurements and existing conditions.
• Make design changes according to site conditions.
• Maintain project files and drawing documentation.

Software KnowledgePreferred

• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• 3ds Max
• D5 Render / Enscape / Lumion
• Photoshop
• Revit

Candidates do not need to be experts in every software, but should have a willingness to learn and improve their skills.

Experience : Fresher / 0–1 Year

Students with academic projects, personal design projects, or a basic portfolio are welcome to apply.

Salary / Stipend

₹5,000 – ₹15,000 per month, depending on skills, portfolio, and performance.
