Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled, experienced, and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman with 5–7 years of relevant experience in architectural and interior design projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in technical drafting, construction documentation, AutoCAD, and project coordination.

The selected candidate will be responsible for producing precise and detailed architectural and interior drawings, preparing construction documentation, coordinating with architects, engineers, consultants, and site teams, and ensuring that all drawings meet the required technical, quality, and project standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D architectural and interior drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, layouts, and construction details.
• Develop approval, submission, and construction drawings according to project requirements and applicable regulations.
• Prepare, coordinate, and integrate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) layouts with architectural drawings.
• Convert architectural concepts, designs, and specifications into accurate and technically detailed drawings.
• Assist in space planning, zoning, and layout development based on project requirements.
• Review drawings to ensure accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance with project and company standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams to identify and resolve technical and drawing-related issues.
• Incorporate design revisions and update drawings according to project changes, client requirements, and site conditions.
• Provide guidance and coordination to junior draftsmen to ensure drawings are prepared accurately and within deadlines.
• Maintain organized drawing records, revision histories, project files, and technical documentation.
• Ensure all assigned drawings are completed within the required quality standards and project timelines.

Requirements

• DAE in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in architectural and interior drafting.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, with strong technical drafting skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Practical experience in preparing construction drawings, architectural details, interior working drawings, and technical documentation.
• Good understanding of building codes, regulations, by-laws, and approval procedures.
• Working knowledge of MEP coordination and drafting requirements.
• Ability to accurately interpret architectural designs, plans, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
• Strong attention to accuracy, detail, and technical quality.
