2D Draftsman – Interior Design & Decoration

Location: Qatar
Industry: Interior Design, Fit-Out & Decoration

We are seeking a skilled 2D Draftsman with experience in interior design, decoration, and fit-out projects to prepare accurate technical drawings and detailed layouts based on design concepts and project requirements. The ideal candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with interior fit-out drawings and execution requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D architectural and interior design drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, and detailed joinery drawings.
• Prepare technical drawings for interior fit-out, furniture layouts, partitions, flooring, and ceiling designs.
• Coordinate drawings with interior designers, project engineers, and site teams.
• Revise drawings based on client feedback, design changes, and site requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, measurements, and execution standards.
• Conduct site measurements and prepare as-built drawings when required.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely submission of drawings.
• Coordinate with MEP and other disciplines to identify and resolve drawing discrepancies.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a 2D Draftsman in an interior design, decoration, or fit-out company.
• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Good understanding of interior fit-out drawings, construction details, and finishing materials.
• Ability to interpret design concepts, sketches, and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
• Experience in Qatar and knowledge of local construction practices are preferred.
• Candidates currently residing in Qatar are preferred.
