2D DRAFTSMAN – INTERIOR FIT-OUT (IMMEDIATE JOINER ONLY)

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced 2D Draftsman to join our Interior Design / Fit-Out team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, coordinating with designers and project teams, and ensuring drawings meet project requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, layouts, and shop drawings.
• Convert design concepts and sketches into accurate technical drawings.
• Coordinate drawings with Interior Designers, 3D Visualizers, and Project/Site teams.
• Revise drawings based on comments and project requirements.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, properly dimensioned, and compliant with project standards.
• Maintain organized CAD files, drawing registers, and revisions.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to identify and resolve drawing conflicts.
• Prepare drawings for submission, approval, and site execution.
• Assist the team with additional drafting and documentation requirements when needed.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in drafting, preferably within interior fit-out or construction.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
• Experience preparing interior fit-out/shop drawings is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of architectural drawings, dimensions, materials, and construction details.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple drawings/projects.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Experience working in Qatar or the GCC is an advantage.
