2D Echo Technician

Position: 2D Echo Technician
Department: Cardiology
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 1–4 Years
Qualification: B.Sc. in Cardiac Care / Cardiac Technology / relevant qualification

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform 2D Echocardiography, M-Mode, Doppler and Color Doppler studies.
• Assist cardiologists during cardiac investigations and procedures.
• Prepare patients and explain the procedure before the examination.
• Operate and maintain the Echo machine and ensure proper image quality.
• Record and document patient findings accurately.
• Maintain patient records and follow hospital protocols.
• Ensure proper infection control and safety standards.
• Coordinate with the Cardiology Department, doctors and nursing staff.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in 2D Echo and Doppler.
• Good knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to handle patients professionally.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts, if required.
