Carlow Electrical Services is looking for a 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician to join our growing team.

We are an established electrical and security contractor carrying out a wide variety of work across the South East. Our work includes electrical installations, maintenance, fire safety systems, security systems, EV charging, gate automation and renewable energy installations.

This is a great opportunity for an apprentice who wants to gain broad, hands-on experience across different areas of the electrical industry while progressing through their apprenticeship.

The Role

The successful candidate will work alongside our qualified electricians on a variety of projects, including:

• Domestic, commercial and industrial electrical installations
• Electrical maintenance and fault finding
• Emergency lighting and fire safety systems
• CCTV, intruder alarms and access control
• Automatic gates and intercom systems
• EV charger installations
• Solar PV and renewable energy systems
• Testing, inspection and commissioning
• New installations and upgrade works

What We're Looking For

Applicants should:

• Be a registered 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice
• Have a good attitude and willingness to learn
• Be reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Take pride in producing a high standard of work
• Have a strong awareness of health and safety
• Be comfortable working across a variety of sites and types of electrical work
• Hold a full driving licence or be working towards one.
