Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as an 2nd -3rd year Apprentice Pipe Fitter and embark on an exciting journey into the world of piping systems, mechanical assembly, and construction. Duties

• Assist with the installation and assembly of piping systems using hand tools and power tools
• Large Chiller installs
• Commercial/Industrial boiler installs- Steam & water
• Steam boiler and hot water boiler - servicing - troubleshooting
• Hydrogen piping system installs
• Commercial pool equipment maintenance
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide pipe fitting tasks
• Support welding activities with pressure welders, start learning to weld structural components and brackets
• Participate in rigging operations to lift and position pipes safely during installation or maintenance projects
• Help with routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of piping systems and mechanical components
• Gain exposure to HVAC systems, plumbing, schematics, and manufacturing processes relevant to pipe fitting

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of mechanical concepts and the use of hand tools
• Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail with good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Willingness to learn new skills such as welding techniques, rigging procedures, and blueprint reading
• Good math skills including measurements and calculations necessary for pipe fitting tasks
• Skills used in working with red seal pressure welders

This role provides invaluable experience to complete apprenticeship into red seal journeyman.

Using your skills already required you will be working in a fast paced enviroment with lots of new challenges.
