Position Purpose:

Responsibility for repairs and maintenance for the facility and process equipment, responsible for providing supporting the manufacturing and warehouse staff with and maintenance related needs. Also, to meet the PM requirements for the facility.

Responsibilities Include:

• Follow all plant safety requirements established to protect employees and company assets.
• Communicate daily with production and production shift leads and management as necessary to coordinate maintenance activity and other business activities in a timely manner.
• Accompany management during facility inspections
• Operate plant equipment within established procedures
• Follow product quality assurance requirements as outlined in the QC manual to protect employees and company assets.
• Complete all necessary recordkeeping in a timely manner.
• Complete monthly maintenance inspections, report in writing any discrepancies.
• Support all production equipment to ensure smooth operations & maintain clean tools.
• Follow all established plant housekeeping/maintenance requirements.
• Communicate any Quality, Maintenance, or Safety issues.
• Keep a record of all temporary repairs.
• Fill in for operators when needed
• Contribute to the team environment by sharing ideas towards continuous improvement.
• Assist with any and all other duties that may be assigned.
• Will work with Personnel from other departments when required.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Extensive knowledge of Mechanical, electrical hydraulic, and pneumatic functions
• Time management and organizational skill
• Must speak English

Physical Requirements:

• Lift 60 lbs. -Frequently
• Carry 60 lbs. -Occasionally
• Bend/Stoop - Frequently
• Climb/Work at Heights - Occasionally
• Reach above Shoulder level – Frequently
• Push/Pull – Frequently
• Squat/Crouch - Frequently

Work Schedule:

• Must be willing to work 2nd and/or 3rd shifts.
• Must be willing to work a temporary assignment, alternative schedule or shift as requested by a supervisor.
• Non-exempt employees are required to work all scheduled weekend or overtime shifts when the need arises.
