Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 2nd Shift Assistant Manager to join our convenience store team in Hendersonville, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing convenience store operations during the second shift. This role is essential in ensuring smooth store operations, excellent customer service, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations during the 2nd shift.
• Lead, train, and motivate store associates to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, and merchandising to maximize sales and minimize shrinkage.
• Handle cash management, deposits, and accurate record-keeping.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and operational goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role in a convenience store environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively during the 2nd shift hours.
• Knowledge of inventory management and cash handling procedures.
• Customer-focused with problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.

Work Schedule

This position primarily covers the 2nd shift hours. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
