2nd Shift CMA - Certified Medication Aide

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Assistant and Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Certified Medication Assistant and or Certified Nursing Assistant will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurses. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the medical field.

Duties:

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs
• Provide basic patient care and comfort measures
• Assist nurses with medical procedures as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements:

• Certified Medication Assistant

• Certified Nursing Assistant

• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program

• Current CPR certification

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

• Experience working in pediatrics, assisted living, ICU, or nursing homes is a plus

• Ability to phlebotomize is preferred but not required

• Excellent patient service skills and compassion

• Familiarity with medical records management

• Understanding of physiology and anatomy
