CNC/SAW Operator Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC/SAW Operator to join our 2ND shift manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC/SAW machinery and programming, with a focus on precision and quality control. This role involves working with various types of materials. The CNC/SAW Operator will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, setting up machines, and ensuring that all parts meet the required specifications.

Duties

• Operate CNC/SAW flat bed machines to manufacture precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC/SAW equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instrument such as micrometer.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimize production processes.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently within the manufacturing facility.
• Assist in the setup of tooling and fixtures for machining operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC/SAW Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining and assembly line operations.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality control standards.
• Previous factory or warehouse experience is preferred.
