2nd shift CNC Programmer

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer III to program, set up, and operate CNC machining equipment to produce high-precision production and prototype parts. This senior-level role requires advanced programming skills, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the leadership skills to support and mentor other machinists.

Key Responsibilities

Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and/or Wire EDM machines.
Create and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and engineering drawings.
Select tooling, fixtures, and machining parameters for complex jobs.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment.
Troubleshoot machining, programming, and tooling issues.
Improve processes to increase quality and efficiency.
Train and support less experienced machinists.
Maintain documentation and follow all safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience.
Strong G-code programming skills and experience with Fanuc, Haas, or Siemens controls.
Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and multi-axis machining.
Ability to hold tight tolerances and machine complex parts.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Pay Range: $38.33-$40.24 plus $1.50 shift premium

Pay: Competitive compensation based on experience.
Schedule: Full-time.
