2nd Shift Light Production Worker

Join Sky Unlimited's family-owned and managed dynamic manufacturing team as a Light Production Worker specializing in Printing Press operations or as an Expeditor. This role is vital in ensuring smooth, efficient production workflows within a manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for set up and operation of printing equipment, organizing jobs, and maintaining high-quality standards with a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, operation, and troubleshooting of printing presses to ensure optimal performance
• Monitor production quality and ensure quality standards are met and maintained by carefully reading job orders' spec sheets to verify an order's product for size, quantity, art placement, etc.
• Maintain a high print quality and attention to detail.
• Meet schedules, deadlines and expected throughput production rates.
• Perform adjustments and preventative maintenance procedure to assigned printing press(es).
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.
• Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper handling of mechanical tools and equipment

Qualities Desired in Successful Candidate:

• Basic computer skills with ability to learn new software
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment a plus
• Good troubleshooting & critical thinking skills
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Quick learner
• Ability to adapt to different tasks and roles
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit or stand for the entire shift as the role requires
• Must be able to repeat the same motions for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• Entry level

Job Type: Full-time-Night Shift

Hours: 5:10pm-6:00am

3-12 hour days

$2.50 Shift Differential
