Pay Rates

• Certified Medication Technician: Starting at $17.10 per hour
• Med Tech in Training: Starting at $15.60 per hour

Med Techs in Training must successfully complete the required training program and state examination within the first 45 days of employment to qualify for the applicable promotional pay increase.

• 1-Year Anniversary: $2.00/hour raise
• 2-Year Anniversary: Additional $1.00/hour raise
• 3-Year Anniversary: Additional $1.00/hour raise

That's up to $4.00 more per hour in anniversary raises over your first three years, in addition to applicable cost-of-living increases!

What You'll Do

• Administer Medications: Safely administer, document, and store medications according to physician orders, established procedures, and applicable state regulations.
• Learn and Grow: If hired as a Med Tech in Training, work alongside experienced team members and supervisors to develop medication administration skills and complete certification requirements.
• Provide Resident Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals, as needed.
• Monitor Resident Well-Being: Observe residents for changes in physical condition, behavior, or potential medication side effects and promptly report concerns.
• Maintain Accurate Documentation: Complete medication records and other required documentation accurately and on time.
• Support the Team: Work collaboratively with fellow team members to provide safe, compassionate, person-centered care.

What We're Looking For

• At least one year of experience in a nursing home, skilled nursing facility, hospital, or similar healthcare setting required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Current Medication Technician certification preferred for certified Med Tech applicants
• Strong communication and basic math skills
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to resident safety
• Ability to work 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, including rotating weekends
• Ability to meet applicable background screening, drug screening, and certification requirements
