Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic 2nd Shift Part-Time Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
• Handle custodial tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Operate floor equipment to ensure floors are properly maintained.
• Safely handle chemical agents in accordance with chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a healthy environment.
• Conduct sanitation procedures in kitchens, bathrooms, and high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities, including heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any facility issues or safety concerns promptly.

Experience

• Previous janitorial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor cleaners, vacuums, and carpet cleaners is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and sanitation standards is essential.
• Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting professionally with staff or visitors when necessary.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
