2nd Shift Precision CNC Brake Operator

This role requires experienced sheet metal professionals to operate and set up CNC press brake equipment, ensuring parts meet production and quality specifications according to work orders and blueprints. Operators collaborate with level II operators to program CNC machinery and select appropriate tooling.

Key Responsibilities:
Review work orders and print specifications to establish forming requirements

Collaborate with level II operators to program CNC machinery and select appropriate tooling

Set up press brake operations aligned with drawing and order specifications

Perform quality checks and verify material specifications

Monitor equipment and tooling condition, flagging maintenance needs

Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in sheet metal manufacturing

Proficiency with measurement tools including calipers, protractors, and micrometers

Competency with standard hand tools and equipment

Blueprint reading ability

Physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive hand adjustments
