Job Position: 2nd Shift Saw Operator (Direct Hire)

Location: Anderson, SC 29626

Pay Rate: $19.50-23.75/hr

Shift: 2:30pm-11pm (Monday-Friday)

✅ $2.50/hour Shift Premium for 2nd shift

Description: OpSource has partnered with a full-service metal fabrication and machining company located in Anderson, SC. These are all direct hire positions.

Position Summary:
A Saw Operator safely sets up, runs, and maintains cutting equipment—such as band saws, circular saws, panel saws, or CNC saws—to cut metal, wood, or plastic stock to exact customer or engineering specifications.

Starting Pay Rates on Experience & Pre-Employment Test Results: $19.50-$23.75 (based on expereince and skills test performance)

**Job requirements for the position may include:**What You’ll Do:
✔ Safely operate first-cut machines and related production equipment

✔ Follow blueprints and specifications to ensure product accuracy

✔ Recognize and troubleshoot machine malfunctions independently

✔ Operate overhead cranes with attention to safety protocols

✔ Maintain production flow while achieving daily quality standards

✔Assist with training new team members and transfers

✔Keep work areas clean and compliant with safety/quality standards

Qualifications What We’re Looking For:
✅Mechanical aptitude and strong math skills

✅Technical certification or equivalent on-the-job machine operating experience

✅ Demonstrated ability to read technical drawings and blueprints

✅ Experience operating overhead cranes in a safe, efficient manner

✅ Proven ability to spot and resolve machine issues

✅Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

✅Physical ability to manually lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long durations
