Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team during evening hours. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily production operations, ensuring safety standards are maintained, and driving continuous process improvements. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities on the 2nd shift, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely
• Lead, manage, and motivate assembly line teams, promoting teamwork and high performance
• Enforce safety standards in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements, conducting regular safety audits
• Interpret production documents and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and mechanical work
• Utilize measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and forklifts to support manufacturing processes and heavy lifting tasks
• Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste
• Conduct manual handling tasks safely while adhering to safety protocol standards during all operations

Experience

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or factory environment with a focus on assembly line supervision or team management
• Hands-on knowledge of mechanical assembly, use of measuring instruments, power tools, and interpreting technical drawings
• Familiarity with manufacturing management systems and production documentation interpretation
• Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments, including heavy lifting and manual handling procedures
• Experience with process improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing practices
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and effectively in a busy factory setting
• Prior experience managing production or assembly teams with a focus on safety protocol adherence and continuous improvement
