2nd Shift Warehouse Associate

Garvey's Office Products, a subsidiary of Office Depot, Inc. is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented warehouse associate to join our 2nd shift warehouse team!

Hours: M-F 3:30 pm to 12:00am

The 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for the following job duties:

• Sorts pick tickets according to route colors.
• Following bulk label or pick ticket to determine quantity and type of product needed to pick.
• Pulling the correct amount and type of stock out of bins or boxes to fulfill customer orders.
• Communicating any issues with the products, damages, or misplaced items.
• Attentively placing the correct item in the correct location.
• Driving a forklift to move and stack materials.
• Assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets in packing area.
• Moving customer orders from packing area to loading zone.
• Double checking picked item number and quantity is correct.
• Performing other duties as requested.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail

• Self-starter
• Up to 1 year of prior manual picking experience preferred
• High school degree
• Dependability
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs
• Experience using a forklift and/or electric pallet jack preferred
• Ability to work from 3:30 pm - midnight, Monday afternoon - Friday night

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
