309A Electrician Apprentice 2nd/3rd Term

Seeking 2nd/3rd Term Electrician Apprentice with 2+years of Canadian commercial experience (actual working experience)

• Not accepting pre apprentices

-full time year- round work

• good understanding of the English language both written and spoken

• ability to work alone and with others

• reliable, punctual, ability to show up every day

• display a neat appearance and professional attitude

• must be in good standing with the College of Trades

• proficient with the use of both hand and power tools

• proficient with the use of trade specific tools such as benders, threaders, punches and tuggers etc.

• knowledge of the electric code

• ability to read and understand schematics

• familiar with the installation of Rigid, EMT and PVC conduits

• good understanding of controls

• familiar with hazardous location installations

• working at heights, elevated platforms, first aid and WHMIS all required

• valid drivers license, in good standing

• own vehicle, hand tools, hard hat, safety boots

• good wages, benefits and uniforms

• travel required from time to time

• overtime is available, generally work is Monday to Friday, occasional weekends
