3.5T Driver / Warehouse Operative

Description:

Driving & Deliveries

· Safely operate a 3.5-tonne vehicle, carrying out collections and deliveries to construction sites, commercial premises and other locations.

· Ensure goods are delivered and collected safely, securely and on time.

· Maintain professional communication with clients, site teams and MSK management.

· Complete delivery notes, collection records and proof-of-delivery documentation accurately.

· Comply with road traffic legislation, vehicle weight limits and company driving procedures.

· Safely load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are appropriately positioned, secured and protected during transportation.

· Use suitable load-restraint equipment, including ratchet straps and other securing methods.

· Inspect goods for visible damage and report any discrepancies or concerns.

· Complete and record daily vehicle walkaround checks before use.

· Check tyres, lights, fluid levels, mirrors and other safety-critical components.

· Ensure the vehicle remains clean, tidy, roadworthy and presentable.

· Promptly report vehicle defects, damage, incidents or maintenance requirements.

· Ensure loads remain within the vehicle's permitted weight and axle limits.

Warehouse & General Duties

· Assist with receiving, checking and recording incoming and outgoing goods.

· Assist with general warehouse activities during quieter driving periods.

· Undertake other reasonable duties associated with the role as directed by management.

Requirements:

· Full, valid UK driving licence with entitlement to drive a 3.5-tonne vehicle.

· Previous experience driving a 3.5T commercial vehicle.

· Physically capable of undertaking regular loading, unloading and manual handling duties.

Pay: Up to £32,000.00 per year
