The Role

We're looking for an experienced 360 Excavator Driver to join our site team in Ireland.

You'll operate 360° tracked excavators for excavation, trenching, backfilling and general site works. You'll work as part of a busy team alongside ground workers, engineers and other trades.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate 360° tracked excavators safely and efficiently across a range of machine sizes
• Carry out bulk excavation, foundations, trenching for drainage and services, and site clearance
• Backfill, grade and level to specified depths and falls, working from drawings and
• setting-out
• Load trucks and move materials around site
• Work safely around live underground services, following permit-to-dig procedures
• and using CAT and Genny scans
• Work closely with banksmen, ground workers and site engineers
• Carry out daily pre-use checks, report defects and keep the machine clean and well
• maintained
• Follow all site safety rules, RAMS, exclusion zones and traffic management plans
• Keep accurate daily records and timesheets

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Tracked Excavator Driver on construction sites
• Ability to read drawings, levels and setting-out information
• Good understanding of working safely near underground services and excavations
• Experience with GPS or machine control (e.g. Trimble, Leica) is an advantage
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
