360 excavator operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled 360 excavator operator to join our construction team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty 360-degree excavators to perform a variety of earthmoving tasks essential for construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure efficient site development, precise excavation, and safe operation of machinery. Duties

• Operate 360-degree excavators with precision to perform digging, trenching, lifting, and material handling tasks across diverse construction sites
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on excavators to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
• Follow project plans and specifications to execute excavation activities accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing project needs
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and report any hazards or incidents immediately
• Assist with site setup, including positioning machinery and preparing work areas for excavation activities
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment usage, and safety inspections

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating 360 excavators in a construction or industrial setting
• Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery, including troubleshooting basic issues and performing routine maintenance
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification is preferred for transporting equipment between sites
• Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites
• Ability to read and interpret site plans, diagrams, and technical instructions
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment

Pay: £22.00-£23.00 per hour
