3D CAD Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented 3D CAD Engineer to temporarily join our engineering design team for 3 months.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing complex three-dimensional computer-aided design models that support our engineering projects and customer requirements. Your skills will help to update our technical drawings and detailed schematics, ensuring seamless project execution from design through to completion.

Duties

• Collaborate with our internal teams to interpret design specifications and translate them into comprehensive digital models that meet project requirements.
• Create and review technical diagrams and documentation to ensure clarity and precision.
• Develop accurate 3D models and detailed drawings using industry-standard CAD software, SolidWorks.
• Rendering the models using the rendering software within SolidWorks Professional.

Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks & SolidWorks Professional is essential for success in this role.
• Strong understanding of schematics development and technical drawing standards within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Demonstrated experience with CAD modelling for conveyor engineering would be highly beneficial.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings with precision and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a keen eye for accuracy in digital modelling.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
