3D Character Artist

Joygame, founded in 2009 and titled Turkey's first gaming company, supports talented gaming studios both in terms of financing and knowledge. It develops and publishes many games that have achieved great success in international markets. Reaching millions of players with different products in PC, mobile and NFT game categories, Joygame aims to provide entertainment experiences to players across all continents with local content.

We are looking for a “3D Character Artist” for our Madbyte Studio and needed qualifications are below.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 3D character models for our games.
• Model, sculpt, texture, and optimize character assets.
• Follow the project's art style and quality standards.
• Work closely with the Art, Design, and Development teams.
• Improve and update assets based on feedback.
• Deliver game-ready assets within project deadlines.

Qualifications

• A portfolio showcasing your 3D character art is required. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
• Previous experience working on game projects
• Good knowledge of Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Substance Painter, or similar tools
• Understanding of character anatomy, proportions, and modeling techniques
• Knowledge of UV mapping, texturing, and PBR workflows
• Ability to create optimized assets for real-time games
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills

Bonus Points

• Experience with Unreal Engine
• Experience with rigging and skinning
• Knowledge of shaders and visual effects
• Experience working on released game titles
