3D Designer

Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented 3D Designer with experience in the events and exhibitions industry to join our growing team at Venttat.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing creative 3D concepts and realistic visualizations for exhibition stands, event booths, stages, corporate events, and branded spaces. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of event design, spatial planning, materials, and fabrication techniques, with the ability to transform client briefs into visually appealing and technically feasible designs.

Key Responsibilities

3D Design & Visualization

• Develop creative 3D concepts and realistic renders for exhibition stands, event booths, stages, and event spaces.
• Design event environments, promotional areas, product displays, and branded installations based on client requirements.
• Prepare high-quality 3D visualizations and presentations to communicate design concepts to clients.
• Create different design options and revise concepts based on client feedback.
• Ensure designs align with the client's brand identity, event objectives, and budget.

Exhibition & Event Design

• Design custom exhibition stands, trade show booths, conference spaces, and corporate event setups.
• Develop layouts for stages, backdrops, reception areas, VIP lounges, and other event-related structures.
• Apply creative concepts to maximize space utilization, visitor engagement, and visual impact.
• Stay updated on current trends in event design, exhibitions, branding, and experiential marketing.

Technical Drawings & Production Coordination

• Prepare detailed drawings, dimensions, layouts, and design specifications required for production and installation.
• Coordinate with the production, engineering, and fabrication teams to ensure designs are practical and technically achievable.
• Select suitable materials, finishes, lighting elements, and structural details based on project requirements.
• Ensure designs consider fabrication capabilities, installation requirements, safety, and project timelines.
• Support the production team during the implementation phase by clarifying design details and addressing technical changes.

Client & Internal Coordination

• Work closely with the Sales team to understand client briefs, project scopes, budgets, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with project managers, production teams, and other designers to ensure consistency between approved designs and final execution.
• Participate in client presentations and design discussions when required.
• Incorporate client feedback and ensure timely delivery of design revisions.

Project Management & Quality

• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Maintain organized design files, drawings, renders, and project documentation.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency across all design deliverables.
• Contribute creative ideas that enhance the company's design capabilities and competitiveness.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in 3D Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a 3D Designer in the events, exhibitions, or event production industry.
• A strong portfolio showcasing exhibition stands, event booths, stages, or other event-related projects.
• Proficiency in relevant 3D design software, such as 3ds Max, SketchUp, Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar tools.
• Experience with rendering software such as V-Ray, Corona Renderer, Lumion, or equivalent tools.
• Ability to prepare technical drawings and production-ready design details; knowledge of AutoCAD is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of materials, fabrication methods, lighting, dimensions, and installation requirements.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and spatial design skills.
• Ability to understand client briefs and translate ideas into practical, visually compelling designs.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience designing exhibition stands, custom event booths, stages, and large-scale event installations.
• Understanding of fabrication processes involving wood, metal, acrylic, cladding, and other production materials.
• Experience working closely with production and installation teams.
• Familiarity with the Saudi events and exhibitions market.
