3D Designer Interior & Exhibition

PT City Neonindo Indah Murni is a Design, Build, and Event Organizer company established in 1983, and one of the largest exhibition contractors in Indonesia.

We provide 360° exhibition and event solutions, covering creative design, construction, and event execution. Our team delivers integrated experiences ranging from exhibition booths, brand activations, event environments, to large-scale exhibition builds.

We are looking for a creative and technically capable Exhibition & Interior Designer who can transform ideas into compelling spatial experiences while ensuring designs are practical for production and execution.

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong understanding of exhibition workflow and visitor flow planning.
• Develop creative design concepts for exhibition booths, event spaces, and interior environments.
• Receive design briefs and collaborate with the Team Leader to define project direction.
• Produce high-quality design proposals with strong conceptual thinking and clear visual communication.
• Present design concepts to clients and communicate the design rationale effectively.
• Prepare clear and detailed working drawings for the production and installation teams.
• Work collaboratively with designers and cross-department teams.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure the design is properly executed.
• Conduct site surveys and site visits when required.

What You Will Do

1. Site Survey

Conduct site surveys to understand spatial conditions, measurements, access points, and technical constraints. Document site conditions through photos and notes to support the design process.

2. Design Concept

Develop creative concepts based on the project brief, considering brand identity, spatial experience, visitor circulation, and functional requirements.

3. Design Development

Translate the approved concept into detailed 3D designs and visualizations, ensuring the design remains visually compelling and feasible for construction.

4. Client Presentation

Present design proposals to clients, explaining the concept, layout, materials, and spatial experience, and refine the design based on feedback.

5. Working Drawings

Prepare clear and accurate technical drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and construction details for production and installation.

6. Meeting Production

Lead coordination meetings with the production team to explain the design intent and provide clear instructions before fabrication and construction begin.

7. Site Visit

Conduct site visits during construction to monitor progress, ensure the build follows the design intent, and resolve on-site issues with the production team.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Multimedia, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in exhibition design, interior design, or related industries.
• Proficient in Photoshop, SketchUp, V-Ray, Adobe Illustrator, and 3ds Max.
• Able to render using Enscape or D5, with basic understanding of AI-based rendering tools.
• Possess strong technical drawing abilities and good communication skills.\
• Strong sense of design, composition, and spatial awareness.
• Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and relevant standards or regulations is an advantage.
• Demonstrates initiative, reliability, and strong work ethic.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and willing to work overtime when required.
• Fluent in spoken and written English is a plus.
