3D ENGINEER

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop detailed manufacturing drawings using Solid Works and AutoCAD software. Assist counterpart designers in creating details out of the original designs.
• Closely coordinates with designer/ customer concerning new design and design change requirements of products.
• Handles and coordinates new product development.
• Ensures completeness and correctness of drawings during the trial/ development stage using a standard checklist as a guide.
• Ensures updated drawings and solid works files are saved in the Eng'g folder.
• Evaluate new materials, parts, or components. Assists in identifying and evaluating alternative parts.
• Monitors progress of newly developed products and coordinates with production and production engineering for some adjustments.
• Ensures On-time completion of drawings based on target/ standard lead time.
• Ensures readiness of drawings in server before production.
• Prepares RTP for new materials, parts, and components.
• Performs on-time creation of Part numbers and BOM uploading for NEW Products in Vision.
• Performs on-time updating of monitoring files.
• Compliance with all company and departmental policies and memos. Follows proper and on-time filing of leave. Observe proper wearing of uniform and PPEs & comply with 5S, safety & ISO standards.
• Consistently conducts proper reporting in VISION.
• Attends scheduled training and other company-sponsored activities.

Qualification:

• ·Technical/ Bachelor's degree related to industrial design, architecture, or engineering. Must have high numerical aptitude
• Proficient in using CADD software, preferably SOLIDWORKS, and AUTOCAD
• Experience in metal manufacturing OR CNC Machining is an advantage.
• Can interpret drawings to identify processes, tools & equipment and materials to be used.
• With a strong sense of responsibility, maturity & professionalism. With high analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-reliant but can collaborate ideas with other team members
• Can communicate well in the English language, both written and orally
