Position Overview

The 3D Technical Designer /Renderer translates high-level concept art, sketches, and architectural blueprints into highly accurate 3D models and photorealistic visualizations. This role sits at the critical intersection of imaginative design and structural engineering. You will build the virtual blueprints that guide our large-scale fabrication facilities, global theme park installations, and client presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• 3D Visualisation & Rendering: Develop high-end, photorealistic 3D environments, walkthroughs, and fly-throughs to showcase master planning, thematic elements, and guest experiences to clients.
• Technical Modelling & Drafting: Convert rough ideas, quick sketches, and 2D specifications into meticulous 2D and 3D schematic/technical diagrams using advanced CAD software.
• Thematic Integration: Apply physically accurate textures (PBR), shaders, and complex lighting techniques to match stylized attraction concepts (e.g., weathered rockwork, GFRC cliff walls, ancient temples).
• Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Partner closely with Creative Directors, Show Producers, Architects, and Fabrication teams to update, track, and modify technical drawings according to structural engineering limitations.
• Project Delivery: Simultaneously balance multiple design phases across various active regional project timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in 3D design, digital modeling, or architectural visualization.

• Industry Focus: Proven experience in themed entertainment, theme parks, themed restaurants, water parks, or themed hotel experiences.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Advanced mastery of AutoCAD and Blender (or equivalent 3D packages like 3ds Max, Rhino, or Revit).
  • Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects) for post-production and digital enhancements.

• Structural Knowledge: Strong technical insight into architectural designs, steel construction, and spatial constraints required to scale up a 3D model into real-world fabrication.

• Education: Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, 3D Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a closely related creative-technical field.

• Soft Skills: Outstanding visual communication flair, an eye for microscopic detail, strong time-management, and a highly collaborative spirit. High fluency in English (written and verbal) is required.
