Job Overview

Dime Industries is looking for a talented, versatile, and technically skilled 3D Video Generalist to help bring our brand to life through 3D design, animation, video production, digital content, and live-event experiences.
This role combines creative design with technical execution. The ideal candidate can create high-quality 3D product animations and marketing videos while also designing physical event environments, trade show booths, and brand activations using accurate, to-scale 3D models and production-ready technical drawings.
We are looking for someone who can take a project from concept to completion—from creating a digital product animation to developing a fully scaled event design that can be handed off to fabricators and production teams for execution.
The right candidate is creative, detail-oriented, technically capable, and comfortable working across multiple disciplines. They should have a strong portfolio demonstrating 3D design, video production, and digital content creation, with experience in event design and production considered a major plus.

What You'll Own

  1. 3D Design, Modeling & Animation
  • Create high-quality 3D models, product renders, animations, motion graphics, and visual effects.
  • Develop realistic product visualizations and animated showcases for Dime products, packaging, merchandise, and marketing campaigns.
  • Create 3D environments, branded assets, and animations for digital advertising, social media, websites, and promotional content.
  • Apply advanced lighting, texturing, materials, camera techniques, and rendering to produce polished, professional visuals.
  • Translate creative concepts and brand direction into compelling 3D visuals.
  • Develop and maintain reusable 3D assets, models, and animation templates.
  • Optimize 3D content for different platforms, display formats, and production requirements.
  1. Video Production & Digital Content
  • Create, shoot, edit, and produce video content for social media, digital advertising, product launches, websites, and brand campaigns.
  • Combine 3D animation, motion graphics, visual effects, and live-action footage into engaging video content.
  • Assist with product shoots, promotional videos, behind-the-scenes content, and other branded video projects.
  • Create animated graphics, transitions, titles, and visual effects that enhance video production.
  • Adapt videos for different platforms, aspect ratios, resolutions, and advertising placements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, videographers, photographers, editors, and external production companies.
  • Manage projects from initial concept and storyboarding through production, editing, revisions, and final delivery.
  • Stay current with emerging digital content trends, creative technologies, and video production techniques.
  1. Event Design, 3D Layouts & Technical Production
  • Design 3D environments for trade shows, brand activations, product launches, sponsored events, retail experiences, and other live-event installations.
  • Create accurate, to-scale 3D event designs and layouts based on actual venue dimensions, booth sizes, floor plans, and production specifications.
  • Develop detailed 3D models and visual presentations that accurately represent the proposed physical event build.
  • Produce technical drawings, dimensioned layouts, elevations, measurements, and other production documentation needed to execute event designs.
  • Ensure designs account for real-world spatial constraints, materials, fabrication methods, equipment placement, installation requirements, and venue restrictions.
  • Translate creative concepts into practical, buildable designs that event fabricators, contractors, and production vendors can execute accurately.
  • Understand the technical requirements involved in turning a digital design into a physical structure or installation.
  • Collaborate with event producers, fabricators, vendors, and installation teams to confirm feasibility and resolve technical challenges before production.
  • Review designs for dimensional accuracy and consistency with approved plans and specifications.
  • Develop visual concepts for LED walls, large-format displays, digital signage, stages, backdrops, booth structures, and branded environments.
  • Prepare video content and graphics for event display systems, ensuring appropriate resolution, aspect ratio, file formats, and playback specifications.
  • Make design revisions based on venue requirements, fabrication feedback, budget considerations, and production limitations.
  • Support on-site creative execution and troubleshooting at events when needed.
  1. Technical Software & Production Workflows
  • Use professional 3D software to model products, build environments, animate assets, and create production-ready visualizations.
  • Use CAD or drafting software when needed to create precise dimensions, technical drawings, and event production plans.
  • Prepare organized project files, source assets, renders, and final deliverables for internal teams and external vendors.
  • Understand technical specifications for digital displays, LED walls, projection systems, video playback, and event production equipment.
  • Maintain consistent file organization, naming conventions, version control, and project documentation.
  • Identify the appropriate tools and workflows for each project and independently solve technical production challenges.
  1. Creative Collaboration & Project Management
  • Work closely with marketing, e-commerce, design, social media, and event teams to develop creative assets aligned with Dime's brand identity.
  • Take creative direction and turn initial concepts into finished, high-quality deliverables.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, creative partners, vendors, and production teams.
  • Present creative concepts and technical designs clearly to both creative and non-creative teams.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve creative workflows, production quality, and visual consistency.
  • Maintain an organized library of 3D assets, video projects, event designs, and brand materials.
  • Develop realistic product visualizations and animated showcases for Dime products, packaging, merchandise, and marketing campaigns.
  • Create 3D environments, branded assets, and animations for digital advertising, social media, websites, and promotional content.
  • Apply advanced lighting, texturing, materials, camera techniques, and rendering to produce polished, professional visuals.
  • Translate creative concepts and brand direction into compelling 3D visuals.
  • Develop and maintain reusable 3D assets, models, and animation templates.
  • Optimize 3D content for different platforms, display formats, and production requirements.

Who You Are

  • A strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing 3D work, animation, digital content, and video projects.
  • Proficiency in professional 3D software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, or 3ds Max.
  • Experience with video editing and motion graphics software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
  • Demonstrated ability to create accurate, to-scale 3D event designs using actual dimensions and specifications.
  • Technical ability to develop production-ready event layouts, dimensioned drawings, and other documentation needed for fabrication and installation.
  • Proficiency in appropriate CAD, drafting, or technical design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent tools.
  • Understanding of spatial planning, measurements, materials, fabrication, and the practical requirements of physical event builds.
  • Understanding of 3D modeling, lighting, texturing, rendering, animation, composition, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to create digital assets optimized for different platforms, display formats, and production environments.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain creative concepts and technical requirements clearly.

Nice To Have

  • Experience designing and producing trade show booths, event installations, experiential marketing environments, or branded activations.
