3D Visualizer

Job Summary

The 3D Visualizer will be part of an expanding and specialist Hospitality Design team within greymatters, working closely with a team of motivated and experienced designers in our Bangkok studio. As part of a collaborative design environment, you will help interpret Client and Operator briefs to produce high-quality interior visualizations that support the design development and presentation process.

Through creative and impactful rendering solutions, you will bring hospitality interior concepts to life across projects including restaurants, cafés, bars, lounges, and hotel interiors. The role requires strong proficiency in SketchUp, Enscape or D5 Render, with a keen eye for detailed modeling, lighting, materials, and atmosphere. Experience with animation walkthroughs and video editing for presentation content will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality interior renderings for hospitality projects including restaurants, cafés, bars, lounges, and hotel interiors.
• Develop detailed 3D interior models using SketchUp based on design drawings and concepts from the interior design team.
• Produce photorealistic renderings and interior scenes using D5 Render/ Enscape.
• Set up realistic lighting, materials, textures, furniture, and decor elements to reflect the design intent.
• Work closely with interior designers and project teams to ensure visualizations align with design concepts and mood boards.
• Revise renderings according to design updates and feedback.
• Prepare presentation visuals for client meetings and design proposals.
• Create short walkthrough animations or presentation videos when required.
• Maintain and organize 3D models, materials, and asset libraries to support efficient workflow.
• Stay updated with visualization trends, rendering techniques, and hospitality design aesthetics.

Education/Qualifications

• Degree or background in Interior Design, Architecture, 3D Visualization, or related field (preferred but not mandatory with strong portfolio).
• Strong understanding of interior space, detailed modeling, lighting, materials, and design atmosphere.
• Ability to interpret interior design drawings, layouts, and mood boards.
• High attention to detail and strong visual composition skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• 1–3+ years of experience in 3D visualization for interior design projects (hospitality experience preferred).

• Strong proficiency in:

  • SketchUp (3D interior modeling)
  • Enscape or D5 Render (real-time rendering)

• Ability to create photorealistic interior visualizations.

• Understanding of lighting setup, materials, textures, and interior styling.

• Experience producing rendered images and simple animation walkthroughs.

• Video editing skills (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar) are a plus for presentation videos and social media content.

• Basic post-production skills (Photoshop or similar tools) are an advantage.

Written and Verbal Language Skill

• English: Strong written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with international project teams.
• Thai: Fluent written and spoken Thai.
• Other languages an advantage.
