What they need
Evermark is a newly formed beauty and personal care company bringing together a portfolio of iconic, everyday brands with enormous reach and untapped potential: Suave, ChapStick, Q-tips, Caress, St. Ives, TIGI Bed Head, Noxzema, Pond’s, Lever 2000. These are brands people know, trust, and use daily - and we are building their next chapter.
Backed by a growth-oriented YellowWood Partners, we operate with speed, focus, and accountability. Our goal is simple: modernize these brands, accelerate growth, and build a company that consistently outperforms expectations. That means sharpening strategy, raising the bar on execution, and making smart, decisive moves across the enterprise - from how we plan and operate to how we go to market.
This is a company in motion. We are scaling quickly, building new capabilities, and creating the operating model as we go. For the right people, that means rare access, real influence, and the opportunity to help shape not just a role, but a company.
The On-Site 3PL Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of third-party logistics operations supporting the company’s personal care brands, with a focus on inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and cost-effective warehouse and distribution performance. Key responsibilities include overseeing 3PL performance at the assigned site(s), managing KPIs and cost metrics, driving root cause analysis and corrective action on service failures, partnering cross-functionally with brand teams to align on inventory needs and delivery commitments, and continuously improving 3PL processes and provider accountability.
Location: Fort Worth, TX — Hybrid, on-site at the 3PL facility
Primary Responsibilities
Serve as the on-site owner of the 3PL relationship, managing day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations to ensure alignment with company standards and service commitments.
Monitor and report key performance metrics including inventory accuracy, on-time-in-full (OTIF) delivery, order cycle time, and warehouse cost-per-unit, escalating and resolving performance gaps.
Manage 3PL cost structures, including invoice accuracy, accessorial charge review, and budget-to-actual variance tracking.
Conduct root cause analysis on service failures, inventory discrepancies, and delivery exceptions, and drive corrective action plans with the 3PL provider.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Sales, Customer Service, and Planning teams to align inventory availability with demand needs and customer delivery expectations.
Lead or support cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation processes to maintain inventory accuracy targets.
Identify and implement process improvements at the 3PL site to reduce cost, improve throughput, and strengthen service levels.
Hold the 3PL accountable to contractual SLAs, safety standards, and operational best practices, escalating performance issues as needed.
Stay current with 3PL industry trends, technology, and best practices, applying relevant improvements to site operations.
Primary Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in 3PL, distribution, or warehouse operations management, with direct on-site oversight experience.
Experience managing 3PL provider relationships, including performance management and cost/invoice review.
Experience in the consumer goods industry, personal care or CPG strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), including replenishment logic, safety stock, and inventory positioning across a distribution network.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use KPI and cost data to drive decisions and hold providers accountable.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across brand, planning, and customer service teams.
Comfortable working on-site in a warehouse/distribution environment, with the ability to identify issues on the floor and translate them into action.
Knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and safety/compliance requirements.
Technical Skills
ERP platform experience with Microsoft Business Central required, including order management, inventory transactions, and reporting.
WMS platform experience with Körber (Korber) WMS preferred, including inventory management, order fulfillment workflows, and system-generated performance reporting.
Working knowledge of inventory management and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), with the ability to interpret and act on DRP outputs to guide 3PL inventory positioning and replenishment.
Proficiency using ERP/WMS data to build and maintain KPI dashboards and cost reporting for 3PL performance management.
Comfortable troubleshooting data discrepancies between ERP and WMS systems and working with IT or the 3PL provider to resolve system-level issues.
Working knowledge of AI/LLM-based tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate data analysis, automate routine reporting, draft root cause and performance summaries, and support day-to-day decision-making.
Ability to apply AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency in KPI reporting, exception analysis, and cross-functional communication, while validating outputs against source ERP/WMS data
Personal Attributes
Positive, hands-on individual with strong business acumen and a sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly.
Operates in a solutions-oriented manner with a sense of urgency, moving quickly from problem identification to resolution.
Inquisitive problem-solver who seeks out root causes rather than settling for symptoms.
Builds trust and accountability quickly, both with the 3PL provider’s on-site team and with internal brand partners.
Knows what strong 3PL performance looks like and drives the provider toward it.
Comfortable being on the floor, in the data, and in the room with brand stakeholders — equally at ease with execution and with reporting up.
Demonstrated track record of holding external partners accountable while maintaining a collaborative working relationship.
People Who Thrive Here
We look for people who take ownership, move with urgency, and care deeply about results.
Across every level and function, success here comes from thinking like an operator; not waiting to be told what to do but seeing what needs to happen and driving it forward. The individual must be comfortable working across teams, influencing without hierarchy, and making progress even when the path isn’t perfectly defined.
This is a fast-moving environment with high standards and real accountability. In return, you’ll have meaningful responsibility, autonomy to lead your work, and the opportunity to grow alongside brands, and a company, that are being actively shaped.
