Key responsibilities

• Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries and all engine room equipment
• Carry out planned maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting as instructed by senior engineers
• Monitor engine room parameters and report any deviations or defects
• Keep engine room, workshops and stores clean, safe and well organized
• Follow all safety, environmental and company procedures at all times

Requirements

• Valid 3rd Engineer (III/1 or higher) CoC, unlimited
• Mandatory with IGF Advance and Basic
• Previous seagoing experience in the engine department (car carrier or RORO experience an advantage)
• Valid STCW certificates, medical and travel documents
• Good English communication skills
• Team player with a strong safety and work ethic
