3rd Shift CNC Axle Machine Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently during your shift. Your expertise in machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and quality control will contribute to delivering high-quality products while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machinery including CNC machining centers to produce precision parts.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy and ensure compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
• Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Document production activities accurately, including quality checks, machine settings, and process adjustments.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating CNC machine centers.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret shop math for precise fabrication tasks.
• Familiarity with safety standards in manufacturing environments to ensure a safe workspace for all team members.
• Experience with factory or manufacturing facility operations.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments for quality control.
• Knowledge of industrial troubleshooting techniques to resolve mechanical or operational issues quickly.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced production setting while maintaining attention to detail.
