Job Position: 3rd Shift CNC Machine Operator (Direct Hire)

Location: Anderson, SC 29626

Pay Rate: $20.75-26.50/hr

• CNC Machine Operator A: $26.50
• CNC Machine Operator B: $24.50
• CNC Machine Operator C: $20.75
  $2.50/hr Shift Premium
  Classification based on experience and skills test performance

Shift:3rd Shift: 10:30pm-7am

Description: Description: OpSource has partnered with a full-service metal fabrication and machining company located in Anderson, SC. These are direct hire positions.

Position Summary:
Produces machine parts by setting up tooling and operating CNC Machine Centers; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping machine log records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

Job requirements for the position may include:

• Understands specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.
• Set up and operate CNC Milling Machine Centers to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
• Understands specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.
• Translates instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
• Prepares and loads raw materials and parts onto the machines
• Prepares a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
• Sets machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts
• Supervises the machines while they execute the tasks and makes any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
• Inspects and measures finished products and compares them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
• Checks and maintains machinery daily to ensure functionality

What We’re Looking For:
o Ability to read gauges and tape measures
o Ability to operate overhead cranes
o Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
o Professional Certification is a plus
o Proven experience as CNC Milling Machine Center Operator (preferred)
o Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
o Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
o Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
o A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
