Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 3rd shift Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting equipment to produce high-precision components. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly during overnight hours, adhering to safety standards and quality specifications. Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor laser cutting machines, ensuring precise execution of production orders based on technical drawings and specifications.
• Set up laser equipment, including adjusting parameters and tooling, to optimize cutting quality and efficiency.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to accurately produce parts within specified tolerances.
• Use precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards in production and handling materials responsibly.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, shop math skills, and dimensional measurement techniques.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in fabrication processes including tooling setup, materials handling, and machine operation.
• Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments and industrial equipment troubleshooting skills.
• Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is a plus.
• Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred; familiarity with packaging and assembly line processes is advantageous.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
