Are you a 3rd or 4th Year Sheetmetal Fabrication Apprentice looking for an opportunity to build your skills, gain valuable industry experience and work alongside experienced tradespeople?

MEGT is currently seeking a motivated apprentice to join a well-established WA-based industrial fabrication business specialising in sheetmetal fabrication, ventilation, dust and fume extraction, and associated industrial services.

This is an excellent opportunity to continue your apprenticeship in a hands-on environment, working across a variety of workshop and site-based projects.

What you'll be doing

• As part of the team, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills in:
• Sheetmetal fabrication and assembly
• Cutting, folding and forming sheetmetal
• MIG and TIG welding
• Working with stainless steel, aluminium and other materials
• Reading and interpreting drawings and measurements
• Workshop fabrication and preparation
• Assisting with on-site installation and maintenance
• General workshop duties and housekeeping

What we're looking for

We're looking for an apprentice who:

• Is currently in their 3rd or 4th year of a Sheetmetal Fabrication apprenticeship
• Is keen to continue developing their trade skills
• Takes pride in their work and has good attention to detail
• Is reliable, punctual and eager to learn
• Works well as part of a team
• Has a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Is comfortable working in both workshop and site environments

Previous experience in sheetmetal fabrication, welding, ductwork or industrial fabrication will be highly regarded.
