Job Title: Daycare Head Teacher

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and qualified daycare head teacher to manage our daycare program and lead a team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the daycare program, including scheduling, curriculum development, and classroom management
• Lead a team of educators and provide guidance, mentorship, and support
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• Monitor the progress and well-being of each child and communicate with parents and caregivers as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment that meets licensing requirements and health and safety standards
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry trends
• Perform other duties as assigned by the director

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices for early childhood education
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and provide mentorship and support to staff members
• Familiarity with licensing requirements and health and safety standards
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children
