4K Wrap Care Aide

The individuals hired for the 4K Wrap Care Aide positions will assist the 4K Wrap Care Leader with daily duties and supports the 4K Wrap Care students with personal needs including toileting as needed. 4K Wrap Care programs are designed for students attending half-day 4K class through the Mequon-Thiensville School District. Students attend the 4K Wrap Care program before or after attending their 4K class. Candidates must be prepared to perform duties as identified in the position description listed below.

4K Wrap Care Aide Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Experience working with children in a childcare setting strongly preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate with 4K Wrap Care Lead, parents, and school staff
• Personal accountability and patience are essential when working daily with children in a classroom environment
• Ability to manage challenging behavior from students and maintain a professional and patient demeanor
• CPR/AED/First Aid certified or willing to obtain

Reports to: Recreation Supervisor – Youth Programs

Performance Responsibilities:

• Assists the 4K Wrap Care Leader with tasks needed within the 4K Wrap Care classroom
• Supports 4K Wrap Care students with any educational and/or social developmental needs
• Maintains a safe and clean environment in the 4K Wrap Care classroom at all times
• Maintains an understanding of the MTSD Employee Handbook, including 4K Wrap Care policies and procedures

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
