4th Class Power Engineer / Level 2 Building Operator (Downtown Vancouver | Full-Time)

Bridge Facility Services is currently seeking a 4th Class Power Engineer / Level 2 Building Operator for a full-time opportunity in Downtown Vancouver, starting as early as October 5th, 2026.

This position is based at a well-established and highly respected commercial property management firm in British Columbia. The role is intended to transition into a direct hire with the client after an initial period working with Bridge Facility Services.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Excluding BC statutory holidays
• Some flexibility required - shift times may be adjusted slightly based on site needs

Compensation:

• $32.50/hour
• 4% vacation pay

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily building checks and general maintenance
• Monitor HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems
• Respond to tenant requests and service calls
• Coordinate and provide access to contractors
• Complete minor repairs and general building upkeep
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation
• Ensure building systems operate safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• 4th Class Power Engineer (TSBC) certification or actively working toward it
• 2-5 Years previous experience in commercial building operations
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Reliable and professional with a strong work ethic
• Ability to adapt to changing site needs and priorities
