Fourth grade is a defining year. Students deepen comprehension, strengthen writing, tackle multi-step problem-solving, and participate in statewide assessments. We are seeking a skilled, reflective, and driven 4th Grade Teacher who embraces academic rigor, understands the importance of assessment literacy, and intentionally supports students’ growing independence and social development within a diverse learning community.

What You’ll Do

As a 4th Grade Teacher, you will:

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction in literacy, math, science, and social studies
• Strengthen reading comprehension, vocabulary, and written responses to increasingly complex texts
• Develop mathematical fluency and conceptual understanding through problem-solving, reasoning, and academic discourse
• Prepare students for their first experience with state assessments by building test literacy, stamina, and confidence—without sacrificing joyful, meaningful learning
• Use multiple data sources (classroom assessments, benchmarks, state-aligned measures) to inform instruction and provide targeted support
• Foster student independence, organization, and accountability for learning
• Create a structured, engaging classroom environment that supports focus, productive struggle, and respectful peer interactions
• Collaborate with grade-level teammates, instructional coaches, special education staff, and instructional assistants
• Partner with families to support both academic progress and social development

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
