5G Construction Manager

First Point is urgently seeking to hire an experienced 5G Field Manager to lead wireless RAN construction, commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting across the South Dakota market and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site construction, commissioning, integration, and acceptance activities.
• Manage daily supplier coordination, site quality, reporting, and project status.
• Troubleshoot RBS hardware/software, including CBU/DUL, OBIF, RAX and TX.
• Perform UMTS, LTE, WCDMA, CDMA & GSM commissioning/integration.
• Support microwave installation, commissioning and alignment.
• Interpret and implement RAN, RF, fiber and transmission designs.
• Troubleshoot cabinets, rack equipment, power, grounding and transmission systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, customer and site safety standards.
• Interface with technicians, suppliers and customer technical teams to drive sites to completion.

Must Have

• 2+ years wireless industry and network rollout experience.
• Nokia Scoping experience strongly preferred.
• Previous T-Mobile experience highly preferred.
• Hands-on IC&I and troubleshooting experience.
• Working knowledge of RAN/RF, microwave and fiber transmission.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%, including overnight travel.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and technical documentation ability.
