5G NR Systems Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Layer 2 (MAC) protocols for wireless communication systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of MAC scheduler with other layers of the network stack.
• Develop and maintain complex simulations using tools like NR to validate system performance under various scenarios.
• Troubleshoot issues related to layer 2 protocols and provide solutions to improve overall system efficiency.

Job Requirements :

• 4-16 years of experience in designing and developing Layer 2 (MAC) protocols for wireless communication systems.
• Strong understanding of LTE/5G NR standards and their implementation in software-defined radios (SDRs).
• Proficiency in simulating complex wireless networks using tools like NS3 or similar technologies.
• Experience working on scheduling algorithms for efficient resource allocation in wireless networks.
