About the Company

Our client is a Singapore-based high-tech engineering and manufacturing company supporting the semiconductor industry, providing advanced equipment and solutions used in semiconductor manufacturing environments.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair semiconductor equipment and systems at customer sites.
• Perform equipment servicing, preventive maintenance, calibration, and equipment upgrades to ensure reliable operation.
• Respond to customer issues and provide on-site technical support to identify and resolve equipment problems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and software-related issues using appropriate troubleshooting methods and technical documentation.
• Work closely with customers, engineering teams, and internal technical support teams to resolve equipment and process-related issues.
• Support equipment installation, site acceptance, system qualification, and equipment improvement activities.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, troubleshooting documentation, and other technical reports.
• Provide technical guidance and basic training to customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting where required.
• Ensure all service activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures and customer site requirements.
• Travel regularly to customer sites and be prepared to support urgent service requirements when necessary.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related engineering discipline.
• Candidates with experience as Equipment Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Service Engineer, or Field Service Engineer in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or automation systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• Able to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work directly with customers.
• Comfortable working at customer sites and travelling as required.
• Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with engineering and technical teams.
• Travel across Asia to support customers on-site and remotely.
