Job Responsibilities

• Support daily semiconductor manufacturing operations to ensure smooth and efficient production.
• Monitor production processes, equipment performance, yield, and output.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and process-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyse production data and identify opportunities to improve yield, productivity, quality, and cycle time.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with Equipment, Process, Quality, and Production teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), process qualification, and engineering trials.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process reports.
• Implement process improvements to reduce defects, downtime, and manufacturing costs.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and cleanroom requirements.
• Provide engineering support during the 12-hour night shift and respond promptly to production issues.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 2–5 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in the semiconductor / electronics manufacturing industry.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing (HVM) or cleanroom production environment is highly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with yield improvement, process optimisation, RCA, and continuous improvement.
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts on a rotating shift schedule.
• Able to work independently and make timely decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
