About the Role

East Kent Cartons Ltd is seeking an experienced 6 Colour Machine Minder to operate and maintain our carton printing machinery. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong technical knowledge of multi-colour printing equipment and a keen eye for quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain a 6 colour printing machine
• Ensure print quality meets company and customer specifications
• Monitor production runs, making adjustments as required
• Carry out routine maintenance and basic fault-finding
• Work closely with supervisors and production staff to meet deadlines
• Follow all health & safety and quality procedures
• Minimise waste and downtime during production

Requirements

• Previous experience operating a 6 colour (or similar) printing machine
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues
• Good understanding of health & safety in a manufacturing environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
