CDL-A Truck Driver – Seasonal Night Shift (Montrose, PA)

Location: Montrose, PA

Position Type: Temporary / Seasonal (Approximately 6 Months)

Schedule: 4 days on / 2 days off | Night Shift | Approx. 55–60 hours/week

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced CDL-A Drivers for a 6-month seasonal assignment in the Montrose, PA area. This role features 100% drop-and-hook operations using day cab equipment with manual transmissions. Temporary furnished lodging is provided for the duration of the assignment, and drivers will return to lodging after every shift.

Key Responsibilities & Operations

• Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer units (day cab, manual transmission) during night shift operations.
• Perform 100% drop-and-hook freight movements efficiently.
• Maintain complete and accurate FMCSA/DOT logs and documentation.
• Return to provided local lodging at the end of each daily shift.

Compensation & Lodging Details

• Housing: Temporary furnished lodging provided for the duration of the assignment (shared apartment accommodations may be required).
• Transportation: Drivers must have a reliable personal vehicle to commute between lodging and the job site in Montrose, PA.
• Duration: Must be willing and able to remain localized in the Montrose, PA area for the full 6-month term.

Qualifications & Requirements

• License: Valid Class A CDL with no automatic transmission restriction.
• Endorsements: HazMat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience.
• Transmission: Must be skilled in operating manual transmission equipment.
• Vehicle: Reliable personal vehicle required for local commuting during the assignment.
• Compliance: Must meet all FMCSA and DOT driver qualifications.
• Preferred Skills: Prior experience with hooking and unhooking trailers preferred.
