6-Wheeler Boom Truck Driver/Operator

About the role

The Boom Truck Driver/Operator (PAG Driver) will be assigned to the transportation company and will be responsible for operating a boom truck to safely transport, unload, and deliver pressurized gas and heavy, high-pressure gas cylinders. By strictly complying with hazardous material regulations, they carefully balance standard delivery operations with the specialized use of a truck-mounted hydraulic boom crane to lift, load, and precisely position bulk equipment and cargo racks.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a boom truck to safely transport, unload, and deliver pressurized gas and heavy, high-pressure gas cylinders
• Comply with hazardous material regulations
• Use a truck-mounted hydraulic boom crane to lift, load, and precisely position bulk equipment and cargo racks

About you

• High school graduate or ALS equivalent
• Valid Driver's license with appropriate classification - C or 3
• At least 1 year experience as Boom Truck Driver/Operator
• Qualified and authorized to operate a boom truck/crane for loading and unloading cylinders, equipment, and other materials
• Must have Tesda NC II Heavy Equipment Operation (Truck-Mounted Crane)
• Knowledge of safe lifting and rigging practices
