6G/5G Baseband System Architect

• Optimize 6G/5G modem architecture and associated hardware/software flows in aspects of system performance/power/area (PPA) to improve product competitiveness. 2. Develop architectural simulation, system-level modeling, and analysis platforms for modem baseband system performance, low-power optimization, and hard real-time (HRT) latency analysis. 3. Collaborate closely with domain architects to deliver quantitative reports based on simulation data, driving key architectural decisions.

Main Requirements and Qualifications

• Job Requirements:
• 1. Practical experience in digital design, system, or architectural modeling (such as IP design/micro-architecture definition, algorithm fixed-point/data-flow modeling, ESL/SystemC modeling, or SW/FW control-path simulation).
• 2. Familiar with wireless communication or modem architecture (experience in any of the following fields is acceptable: 5G/6G, WiFi PHY/MAC processing, or modem firmware/software) OR possess practical experience in system performance analysis, power consumption analysis, or managing timing/latency/scheduling constraints. (e.g., throughput optimization or HRT budgets). (Meeting either condition is acceptable)
• Work experience in any of following fields would be preferred:
• 1. Digital baseband and/or digital front-end design experience.
• 2. Modem HRT control, hardware/software co-design, interrupt mechanisms, and timing budget allocation.
• 3. Bus interconnect & Network-on-Chip (NoC) analysis and protocols
• 4. Memory system architecture, buffer management, and SRAM/DDR power-performance optimization.
• 5. Low-power software/firmware (e.g., power management drivers, DVFS, sleep/wakeup state controls) or low-power hardware design concepts.
